I am so sorry for your loss. May the 'God of all comfort' be with you during this difficult time. I have personally found comfort in the promise at 1 Corinthians 15:26 where it states that very soon 'death will be brought to nothing'. Then, we have the prospect of being reunited with our loved ones right here on Earth (John 5:28,29). I truly hope this brings you comfort and peace. With deepest sympathies, Gwen and family.

Dad, I want you to know how much I loved you, and how much I will miss you. What joy it was for me when you decided to move down to Texas with us. With Larry being in the service we didn't get to see you very much as our children grew up, but I do know that my children and grandchildren have grown to love their Grandpa and Great Grandpa as well as your daughter in law. This is not goodbye, for we will see you again. Always have that smile that we all dearly loved. I don't think you ever meet a stranger. Love you Dad, Anna

I heard that my great grandpa James held me when I was just a baby. I heard that he has a positive influence on everyone. I feel like that's the reason why I'm so positive to everyone even if me and my friends are in a fight. Even if I don't remember him, I still love him and I always will.The bad news was...bad, but it it can help to understand what you have on the inside . <3 <3 <3

My Grandpa James was the sweetest and happiest man! He always greeted me with "Hello Darlin'!" & it always brought me a smile. I remember sharing delicious meals with him along w/ Grandma Jo and laughing with him the whole day through.I loved when he sat me on his lap to chat or tell jokes. I also remember him helping me on Easter Sunday to find eggs around the trailer & giving me extra pieces of candy when no one was looking. I never saw my Grandpa James frown - not to mention his hugs were the best and given frequently! I always admired how sweet he was to his wife, kids, and grand kids each time I got to see him!! Seeing Grandpa was ALWAYS a special treat-I will never forget his gentle soul and beautiful smile! I want to sincerely thank his Family out in Texas for taking care of him during the last chapter or his life and also send my love to Aunt Tanya. With all My love- I will miss your smiling face and can't wait to hug you again some sweet day "Grampa James"! Xoxo Megan

Dearest Grampa James. I am so blessed to have known you. The love and support you gave to Eric while he was growing up has made him become the most generous, loyal and hard working father. We gave your namesake to our only son Trenton James and every time we get a hug from him, we will think of you now. All of our children remember you fondly, and I especially remember you welcoming me into your family. I enjoyed your hospitality every time we visited. Your kindness and generosity warms my heart as I think of you now. Love for family stands the test of time no matter how far and few between they speak... and you are proof of that!
