Graveside services for Margaret Sageser Peck, 93, of Lubbock, TX and formerly of Cotton Center, TX, will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 2, 2016, in the Center Plains Cemetery, Cotton Center, TX. Services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Hale Center, TX.
Mrs. Peck died in Lubbock, TX, Thursday, March 31, 2016.
She was born September 19, 1922 in Cotton Center, TX to Grover Cleveland and Edna (Beeson) Sageser. She married Orville Peck on July 4, 1947 in Yuma, AZ. They loved to travel together, including visits to China and Europe. He preceded her in death November 11, 1988. She worked for Philips 66 as a bookkeeper for 35 years while living in California and Oklahoma.
She is survived by two sisters, Mae Branson of Washington State and Laura Hopkins of Lubbock; and one brother, Billy Joe Sageser and wife Glenda of Brady, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Peck; and two brothers, Bobby Sageser and James K. Sageser.
