Virginia and I shared many memories as we reared our families in Abernathy. We shared lots of laughs, proud moments, and some fears as we parented our children. We respected and loved each other and later in life reconnected when Virginia worked at Region 17. She was always so glad to see me and we would visit, visit, and visit. I am so thankful this fellow sister in Christ has the promise of the grace of Jesus, love of God, and the promise of eternity. I hate she has left us, but I love where she has gone, May the Lord bless and comfort all her loved ones as I know how dear each and every one of you were to her heart.

I always enjoyed visiting with Mr. and Ms. Shuey at the Ferguson reunion in Floydada and have missed seeing them the last few years. I feel very blessed to have known Ms. Shuey and she will be truly missed by all. Such a beautiful woman inside and out!!!
