Dan Warren Thomas Graveside services for Dan Warren Thomas, 50, of Lubbock, Tx., and formerly of Hale Center, Tx., were held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 27, 2002, in the Hale Center Cemetery with Matt Swanson, Church of Christ Minister, officiating. Services were under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center. Mr. Thomas died Friday, January, 25, 2002, at Covenant Medical Center, Lubbock, Tx. He was born on July 11, 1951 in Hale Center to Warren Grant Thomas and Marinell King Thomas. He graduated from Hale Center High School in 1969 and was a graduate of Abilene Christian University in 1973. He moved to Lubbock From Hale Center, and was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors; 3 brothers, Dwight Thomas and his wife Lynette of Hale Center, Tx., Kelly Thomas and his wife Kim of West Monroe, La., and Kevin Thomas and his wife Susie of Lubbock, Tx. 1 sister, Carolyn Long and her husband Tom of Gause, Tx. 13 nieces and nephews, Leah Thomas, Matt Thomas, Kyla Thomas, Jason Thomas, Brandi Thomas, Brooke Thomas, Drew Thomas, Blaze Thomas, Adam Long, David Long, Tara Long, Kelly Long and Clay Long.
