Services for Norma Helbert, 85, of Hale Center, TX, were held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 7, 2005, in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Plainview, TX, with Rev. Gerald Boerger, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in the Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center, TX. She was born April 13, 1919 in White Rock, CA. She married U. v. Helbert in Reno, NV in 1941. He preceded her in death November 27, 1995. She is survived by Dennis Helbert and his wife Barbara of Brownwood, TX, Gary Helbert and his wife Deborah of Hale Center, TX, a daughter Bonnie Willis and her husband Jerry of Hale Center, TX, 4 brothers, Glenn DeMoss, Ramon DeMoss, James Wesley DeMoss, Everett DeMoss, 5 sisters, Lola Hughes, Sophie Murdock, Hilda Seward, Beverly Gladney, Elzora Beghtel, 11 grandchildren, Scott & Marzee Gloyna, Paul& Rebecca Gloyna, Ginger & Gary Causey, Angela Willis, Rebekah Herrera, Matt & Melissa Hlebert, Josh, Jeremy, Christopher, Derrick and Ashley Helbert.
