Obituary of Laverne Hambrick

Services for Laverne Hambrick, 48, of Hale Center, Tx., were held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 12, 2002, at the Church of Christ in Hale Center with Rev. James A. Whitehead, Sr., officiating. Burial followed in the Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center. Ms. Hambrick died Monday, January 7, 2002 at Covenant Medical Center, Lubbock, Tx. She was born on January 20, 1953 in Waxahachie, Tx. She graduated from Hale Center High School in 1972 and attended Commercial Business College in Lubbock, Tx. She was employed at Coy Transportation Services in Lubbock at the time of her death, and was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors; Mother, Corine Hambrick of Lubbock, Tx. 2 Brothers, Larry Hambrick, Sr., of Lubbock, Tx., and Love Hambrick, Jr. of Odessa, Tx. 7 Nieces and 3 Nephews.
