Obituary of Brad Kantner
Please share a memory of Brad to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Bradley Joseph "Brad" Kantner, was born July 25, 1960 in Charleston, Il., to George H. and Betty (Collins) Kantner. Brad died Sunday, October 29, 2023 in Lubbock, TX at the age of 63.
Brad grew up in Riverside, CA and graduated Rubidoux High School, Riverside, in 1978. He joined the United States Navy in February 1981 and served until receiving an Honorable discharge in October 1982. He worked in construction.
Brad was a loving son and brother, a humble man with a kind soul, a proud veteran, quick, and smart. Brad also suffered from schizophrenia. The strength and courage he displayed in fighting this condition was inspiring. Brad used his quick wit and humor to make others laugh, which he said made him feel better. Brad loved motorcycles, his cats, and his house in Texas and mom's recipes. May he rest in peace and enjoy being, once again, with our parents, grandparents, extended family, and friends who have gone before him.
