Obituary of Lila Ann Fuller

Graveside services for Lila Ann Fuller, 72, of Lubbock, TX, will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:00am in the Abernathy Cemetery with Chaplain Larry Bloskas officiating. Services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. Lila went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at her home in Lubbock, TX. Lila was born October 29, 1950 to Russell Lee & Myrtle Ann (Neal) Paxton in San Antonio, TX on the Air Force Base. She grew up in Abernathy and graduated from Abernathy High School. She raised her family in Abernathy. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) since age 19. She worked in Groom, TX and Pampa, TX in the late 1980’s. She became a home health nurse and she worked in Lubbock and Arlington. She met the love of her life, Bobby Fuller in 1999, and they were married in 2010. She moved back to Lubbock in 2022 and was a “country girl” that loved watching old westerns. She is preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Paxton, and sister, Sharon Reedy. Lila is survived by her husband, Bobby Fuller of Lubbock, 2 sons, James Wheeler and wife Kristy of Amarillo, TX and Timothy Wheeler and wife Yvonne of Lubbock, a sister Donna Williamson and husband Darrell, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
