Obituary of Alejandro "Alex" Paez Polanco

Services for Alejandro "Alex" Paez Polanco, 46, of Abernathy, TX, will be held Friday, July 23, 2021 at 10:00am in the Monte De Los Olivas Church in Abernathy, TX with Nathan Young, officiating. The family will gather to receive friends on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm at Abell Funeral Home. Burial will follow services in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy. Alex died Friday July 16, 2021 in Abernathy, TX. Alex was born December 9, 1974 in Chicago, Illinois to Luiz Paez and Maria Polanco. He went to school in Chicago. Alex enjoyed watching movies, especially Scarface. He had a love for music and often was heard singing and rapping. He would eat anything that was put on his plate. Alex was always seen riding his bicycle throughout town, including to church on Sunday's. Alex is preceded in death by his father Luiz Paez. He is survived by his mother Maria Polanco of Abernathy, brothers Lucio Paez Polanco and Moises Paez Polanco both of Abernathy, and David Paez Polanco of Chicago, sisters Mariluz Sanchez of Chicago, Awilda Rosa of Puerto Rico, Silvia Paez & Loana Paez both from California.
