I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Gary the last 15 years and I will miss him. You could always depend on his big laugh and he always was good to me from day one of meeting him. He and Terri even helped my wife and I move back to Lubbock by renting one of their rent houses to us. Rest in peace brother. - Matt Wolfe

My heartfelt condolences to All of Gary's family and friends for their/our loss. My latest memory of Gary was at his mother's (Aunt Mary's) viewing when he embraced me and thanked me for being there! What a loving and kind spirit. God Bless you, Gary.

It is with great sadness that Karen and I will not be able to attend services. With cancer recovery, Karen is quarantined and very high risk.
With greater sadness is that we have lost a cousin and a fine man. My condolences and prayers for the family. Though we had lost much contact over the years, Gary was always there for the family.

I am Donna Gary's cousin. I am 2 months older than him. If I had been a boy my parents were going to name me "Gary". When our parents would get together and play cards and dominos, Gary and I would run the streets of Abernathy and climb up in the big tree in their backyard. He set up one time with a bad blind date! The last time we spoke he called me Donna Lou! I said that's what your dad always called me he said I know and laughed. Our last text was before he went on the ventalator, we said after this covid mess our families were going to get together more and we were going to spend more time together. He told me he appreciated me so much for checking on him. Now I can appreciate him because he got his angel wings and he can help take care of both our parents, family member and friends that passed before him. I Love U Gary RIP and I will see you again someday. Prayers to all the family and friends. Donna Henley
