My sincere condolences to Dora Marie's family. I lived in Hale Center in the mid-'40s when my father, Truett G. Craft, was pastor of the First Methodist Church. Marie and Floyd Fergason, Dora's parents, were wonderful friends to all of us, and Kathleen Fergason, Dora's youngest sister, was one of my dearest friends. My daughter, Mary Kathleen, is named for her. Dora Marie and Betty Jo were always very special. Kathleen and I went to Tech together in 1945, where she was nominated for a Tech beauty. I am deeply saddened by Dora's death, a wonderful person and a wonderful, Christian family.
