Mr. Galloway was my typing teacher in the late 1960s. He was a very sweet and kind man and teacher. Because of him, I became proud to say that I excelled highly in typing throughout my entire life. He was so thorough in his teaching. I am proud to have had him as a teacher. His wife also was so very sweet also. I have always looked back and seen them as a role model couple in my life. They will always be a part of my journey in my life with a beautiful and happy memory. GOD bless them both and their family. I am so sorry for your loss of these two presious souls. I had Mr. Galloway as my typing teacher in high school and saw him some at Covenant Medical Center where he was volunteer. He was always very kind. Several years ago my dad was patient at Covenant and he took time to come by and visit him. May the memories you as a family shared with him bring you comfort in days ahead. My condolences go out to each of you.

My sincere sympathy to The Galloway family. I’ve known Mr Galloway since the 1960s, when he drove our school bus for Abernathy ISD. He was my typing teacher in high school and more recently, I’ve connected with him at Covenant Medical Center, where he volunteered his time to help others. I will always remember him as a kind, sweet gentleman and a man of integrity. God bless!

Mr. Galloway was my favorite teacher. He made all his students feel important and he taught us we could do anything if we tried. No failure was allowed unless you didn't try. He sang at our wedding and started Rex and I off on the right track. He was a Godly man, and he was not afraid to share his love of God with you. When we talk about Abernathy or high school days Mr. Galloway's name gets brought up and all the fond memories fills our hearts with smiles. He was a great teacher as well as a great friend. He will be missed! Prayers for his family.
