Ruth sang with me in the church choir at FBC Abernathy. I was very pregnant and she was always so encouraging and kind to me when I didn't feel well. She helped me in the church library and encouraged me in some of my deepest times of depression. Her smile was so uplifting and her friendship was dear to me. I missed her when we moved and had to change churches. I pray she passed in peace and look forward to seeing her again in paradise. Larissa White

Ruth and I have been friends since the 7th Grade at Fourth Street Junior High School and were roommates at Texas Woman University . We sang together in High School and shared secrets, adventures and as anyone knows as best friends, things we never told any else. I will miss her so very much. She loved her children, her Grandchildren and her husband so very much.
