""Uncle John is the most inspiring man I have ever known in my life. I loved visiting him in Abernathy when I could, and was fortunate to last visit him two different times in December 2014. I want to be a father just like he is. The entire world cannot contain his love (heart) for family, friends, and all of humanity. His house was always open, and I always had great food and conversations with him every time I visited him. Some of his greatest advice I will always have in my heart is to "work as a team" (in reference to spending your life together with a marriage partner) and that "the world is your playground". I am in China right now and I know he would have loved some of the roasted Peking duck I had last night in Beijing. I can't wait to see Uncle John in heaven one day, and I will be praying for him/asking for his intercession (along with his wife Jean) for the rest of my life.""
