Graveside services for Robert Lee Woods, 65, of Abernathy, TX will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, October 12, 2012 in the Abernathy Cemetery with Rev. W. R. Bolton officiating. Viewing will be held Friday morning from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX.
Mr. Woods died at his home in Abernathy on Friday, October 5, 2012.
He was born in Piney, TX, June 17, 1947 to Mack and Gladys Woods. He was a longtime Abernathy resident and member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by 4 siblings, Reese Carwell and Carolyn Darty both of Lubbock, TX, Pat Johnson of Sherman, TX and Malcolm Woods of Crosbyton, TX, several nieces and nephews.
