Services for Sharon Lea Humphrey Richerson, 72, of Abernathy, TX, were held at 10:00 am Friday, April 8, 2011, in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Perez officiating. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy. The family received friends at Abell Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.
Mrs. Richerson died Monday, April 4, 2011 in Lubbock, Texas.
She was born October 18, 1938 in Lamesa, TX and moved to Abernathy in 1950 graduating from Abernathy High School in 1957, She married Truman Richerson on August 9, 1957 in Abernathy. He passed away March 27, 2011.
She is survived by 4 sons, Roy Richerson of Abernathy, TX, Lee Richerson of Seguine, TX, Tom and his wife, Patricia Richerson and Danny and his wife, Audra Richerson of Abernathy, TX, 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 2 brothers, Frank Humphrey of Lubbock, TX and Neal Humphrey of Apopka, FL.
