Jackson Harbison, Funeral Director & Embalmer

Jackson Harbison, began his employment with Abell Funeral Home in 2013, while he was a Sophomore at Shallowater High School, where he graduated in 2015.  Jackson graduated from Wayland Baptist University in 2018 with a Bachelors in Business Administration, and he graduated with his mortuary science degree in December 2019,

Jackson holds licenses for both funeral directing and embalming. Jackson is married to Shelby (Sower) Harbison. Shelby was raised in Wolfforth, TX, following her graduation from Frenship High School she attended Wayland Baptist University, graduating in 2017 with a Bachelors in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and Management and in 2020 with a MBA. They purchased a home and now live in Abernathy, TX.

Jackson has served on the Panhandle Funeral Directors Association Board, and is currently serving as President.  He currently serves as a Board member for the Texas Funeral Directors Association.  Jackson and Shelby are both members of LifePoint Baptist Church in Lubbock, where Jackson was ordained as Deacon, May 7, 2023.
