Cheri Liess, Funeral Director

Cheri has been associated with Abell Funeral Home since 2011.  

Cheri (Bufe) Liess is a 1996 graduate of Abernathy High School. After graduating from Lubbock Christian University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Social Work, she married Jake Liess. Jake and Cheri returned to Abernathy in 2004 to raise their family here. They have two daughters, Taelor and Addison. Cheri is also involved with the Abernathy High School Twirlers, and band. She also works part-time at the Abernathy Church of Christ. Cheri completed all requirements for the Texas State Funeral Directors License in September of 2014.
